Air Malta to transfer operations back to London Heathrow Terminal 4

Air Malta has announced that it will be transferring operations back to London Heathrow Terminal 4, in a decision it says “confirms the current strong growing demand in air travel”.

For the past two years Air Malta operated from Terminal 2 due to the slowdown in air travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Operations from London Heathrow T4 will restart on Wednesday 22nd June. Starting with KM100/1 on that day, all Air Malta flights to and from Heathrow will operate from this terminal.

“The decision by Heathrow airport to restart operations from T4 confirms the current strong growing demand in air travel,” the airline said in the statement.

London Heathrow is Air Malta’s most served route with 15 weekly scheduled flights.

After an absence of over a year, Air Malta also returned to London’s second airport, Gatwick, with a daily service.
