Morning commuters between Malta and Gozo started their morning with a bang as footage shared on ‘Din Malta Taghna’ Facebook page showed a Gozo High Speed vessel and a moored boat colliding at sea.

In comments to BusinessNow.mt, a spokesperson for the fast ferry operator reported that a minor technical issue led to the collission but was resolved on the spot by the crew.

Additionally, the vessel did not sustain any damanges and therefore the schedule was not disrupted.

“We are operating as per schedule,” the spokesperson shares.

Gozo Highspeed is a ferry line operated by Virtu Ferries and Gozo Fast Ferry that started operating in 2023.
