Hard Rock International has confirmed that its first Maltese property, Hard Rock Hotel Malta, is set to open in early 2026. Located in St Julian’s, the 394-room resort will feature sea-view rooms, suites, and villas, including 25 private pool units and two executive club floors.

Described as a full lifestyle destination, the hotel will offer 15 restaurants, bars, lounges, and clubs, alongside 10 outdoor pools, a rooftop infinity splash pool, and dedicated family and adults-only zones. Wellness, spa and fitness facilities will span over 3,000 sqm, with longevity treatments, AI-integrated fitness areas, and holistic therapies.

The development will also house a branded international beach club, extensive conference facilities, and one of Malta’s largest lifestyle shopping malls, a hypermarket, with over 1,300 parking spaces. Guests can expect the brand’s signature music memorabilia throughout.

“We’re focused on creating something that feels international but is rooted in the local spirit,” said Robert Debono, CEO of db Group, the project’s development partner.

General Manager Florian Walther added that the property aims to be “a bold, music-infused destination” for visitors and locals alike. “Whether you’re relaxing by the rooftop pool, dining beachside, or exploring our signature memorabilia, this property captures everything that makes a Hard Rock Hotel unforgettable,” Mr Walther adds.

The project targets LEED Silver certification, aligning with Hard Rock’s sustainability commitments. Recruitment and partnership development are already underway.
