Starting 16th April 2025, LOT Polish Airlines will introduce a new route connecting Warsaw and Malta.

Flights will operate four times a week from Warsaw Chopin Airport to Malta International Airport, serviced by a Boeing 737 aircraft.

The service will offer both economy and business class options, with departure times varying by day. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, flights will depart at 2:05pm, while on Wednesdays and Sundays, they will take off at 8:20am. The flight duration is approximately three hours each way.

This new route not only provides direct connections to Malta but also facilitates convenient onward travel from German, Austrian, and Swiss airports. For instance, passengers can reach Malta from Hamburg in just 5 hours and 45 minutes, or from Düsseldorf in 6 hours and 40 minutes, including connecting flights.

LOT Polish Airlines emphasises Malta’s appeal as a thriving holiday destination, which welcomed over three million visitors for the first time in 2023.

“Malta is no longer an insider tip, but presents itself as a high-quality holiday destination with a wide range of tourist attractions that appeals a lot to what people from India love when travelling abroad,” said Amit Ray, Director of LOT Polish Airlines and Head of Global Corporate and Strategic Sales.

“We are therefore delighted to start flying to Malta in April 2025 and to further increase the choice we offer our valued customers from India when travelling to Europe,” he added.
