Calamatta Cuschieri Moneybase has announced a new integration with cloud accounting platform Xero, enabling businesses to automatically synchronise their account statements and reduce manual accounting tasks.
The new integration is said to allow companies using Moneybase Business to connect their accounts directly to Xero, eliminating the need to manually upload account statements and helping ensure financial records remain accurate and up to date.
According to the company, the integration is intended to simplify account reconciliations while improving consistency across financial data.
Alan Cuschieri, CEO of Moneybase, said the partnership represents another step towards creating a more connected financial platform for businesses.
“Keeping accounting records up to date remains a costly challenge for many businesses and with this integration we are enabling financial data to flow directly from Moneybase into Xero. This is yet another milestone towards building a more connected platform where businesses can manage their financial operations more efficiently,” he said.
The launch forms part of the continued expansion of the Moneybase Business platform, which provides services including global payments, corporate cards, foreign exchange and liquidity management through a single platform.
The Xero integration is now available to all Moneybase Business users. As part of the partnership, the company is also offering new Xero customers a 90 per cent discount on their first six months when they sign up through Moneybase.
Moneybase Limited is licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) as a Financial Institution, while Calamatta Cuschieri Investment Services Ltd is licensed to provide investment services. Both companies are subsidiaries of Calamatta Cuschieri Moneybase plc.
