On Wednesday (today) Air Malta announced the cancellation of six additional flights to and from Tel Aviv, Israel. These cancellations were announced in light of increasing safety concerns due to the escalating conflict between Israel and Palestine.
Air Malta also recently announced that it cancelled flights to and from Tel Aviv operating on Monday 9th October and Wednesday 11th October (today).
“Air Malta regrets any inconvenience caused by this situation, which is completely outside the airline’s control but for the safety of its passengers and crew members is the top priority for Air Malta,” the airline issued in a statement.
The flights affected are:
Passengers have the option of either changing their tickets to travel on different dates or changing the destination of their travel or submitting their ticket for a full refund.
Air Malta stated that it is continually monitoring the security situation in Israel and is in close contact with aviation authorities and will continually adjust its operations as needed.
