Amazon

Amazon Prime has launched a new digital store in Malta, allowing subscribers of Prime Video streaming service to digitally purchase or rent movies or TV series that are not available on its subscription platform.

The Amazon store had been available in other countries, but has only recently made its way to Malta.

The feature was launched in Malta on 30th June. Amazon explained that the selection of available movies and series vary country by country depending on local license deals and exclusivities.

“We are continuing to build Prime Video as a first-stop entertainment destination with already including a large selection of movies and series included in a Prime Video membership, thousands of additional titles to buy or rent directly in the Prime Video app. Stay tuned for more," it said.
