A villa in Żabbar valued at €1,707,400 is set to be auctioned on Thursday 5th September (tomorrow). Villa Tufli is over 20 years old, and is situated on Ħas-Sajjied Street in Żabbar, an ODZ zone also known as ‘Ta’ Ħas-Sajd’ or ‘Ta’ Kosbor’.

The location of the property

Villa Tufli spans 1617 sqm and features two structures, a field, and an unfinished pool. One of the structures, measuring approximately 186 sqm, has two floors. The ground floor is a garage, while the upper floor contains several empty rooms, including one with a jacuzzi.

The facade

The second structure is spread over three floors. The ground floor includes a living and dining area, a bathroom, and a study. The first floor houses four bedrooms, two of which have ensuites, along with an additional bathroom. The top floor features a washroom.

The 2.5 tumoli field includes an incomplete pool and remnants of a demolished old structure.

The pool and field

The property has evidently been abandoned for a long time, with the architect’s report stating that the finishes of the property are in a bad state and need to be redone. The report also included various pictures of the bathrooms, bedrooms, and the washroom, which clearly show the abandonment.

This property was last purchased in 2008 for the sum of €560,000 by Marina and Vasily Yakovchenko.
