Motors Inc has treated Maltese car enthusiasts with a hotly anticipated addition to the Maserati lineup: the MC20 Super Sports Car.
According to the local car dealer, the first of its kind super car landed in its Qormi show-room on Friday, 8th April.
The MC20 boasts an eye-watering 630-horsepower twin-turbo V6 engine, allowing the vehicle to go from 0-60 mph in less than 2.9 seconds. The impressive specifications do not come cheap, however, with the price tag reaching around a quarter of a million dollars.
The “MC” in its name refers to Maserati Corse—a signal that the brand will soon re-enter racing events with a track-only variant of the car.
Those interested in taking home the widely loved super car will have to wait in line, however, as Maserati North America CEO William Peffer has said that all of the company’s 2022 cars have been allocated for.
Science researchers and experts will be present at the event for meetings and workshops
The 2024 iteration of this event will include pyrotechnic shows in Valletta, Marsaxlokk, Nadur, Mellieħa and the Grand Harbour
