Airport snow

On Wednesday (today), Munich has been hit by a wave of freezing rain and snow, including at its airport, leading Air Malta to cancel its flights to and from the destination.

The affected flights are KM306 Malta to Munich departing 9:05am and KM307 Munich to Malta departing 12:25pm.

In the meantime, Air Malta has transferred affected passengers onto its same-day available flights.

KM308 from Malta to Much is scheduled to depart at 15:40 local time, while KM309 from Munich to Malta is scheduled to depart at 18:55 local time.

In addition to the revised itinerary, Air Malta understands that some passengers may prefer to rebook their travel on an alternative flight. Passengers are advised to contact the Air Malta Customer Service Centre at 00356 21662211 for alternative flight options. The Customer Service Centre is available from Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 20:00 CET, and on Saturday and Sunday, 08:00 – 18:00 CET.

Passengers who wish to receive a full ticket refund can send an email on [email protected].

Passengers who have booked their flights through a travel agent are advised to contact their respective agent, who can submit a refund request on their behalf.

Air Malta regrets any inconvenience caused which is completely beyond the airline’s control.
