HBO Max, the global streaming platform owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, has announced its continued international expansion, bringing its service to several new countries, including Malta.
Beginning this July, HBO Max will also launch in Albania, Armenia, Cyprus, Estonia, Georgia, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, and Tajikistan.
The expansion will make popular titles such as the Harry Potter film series, The Last of Us, and The Pitt available in up to 100 markets worldwide.
The platform offers a wide range of content, including feature films, documentaries, true crime series, adult animation, live sports and news. Programming is sourced from globally renowned producers such as Warner Bros. Pictures and Max Originals.
Earlier this year, HBO Max debuted in Australia and Türkiye, with additional launches expected throughout the rest of the year and into 2026.
