The 2023 edition of Business Now Magazine, the largest edition to date, has been published and is now being distributed to business leaders, CEOs and leading businesses across the island.
Business Now Magazine, the sister brand of Malta’s fastest growing business portal BusinessNow.mt, has gone from strength to strength, and this edition features prominent interviews with Central Bank Governor Edward Scicluna, Malta Chamber of Commerce President Chris Vassallo Cesareo and MCESD Chairman David Xuereb.
The Cover Story of the 2023 edition of Business Now features some of Malta’s leading expat business leaders including PressEnter Group CEO Lahcene Merzoug, Take Off and Bundlex CEO Alona Andruk, Binderr CEO Jacob Appel, Iniala CEO Mark Weingard and Finance Incorporated CEO Cenk Kahraman.
Business Now Magazine Editor Sarah Muscat Azzopardi says this is the strongest edition of Business Now to date, focusing on key business leaders as well as on the local economic landscape and outlook:
“As ever, this year’s edition of Business Now aims to shine a light on Malta’s unique economic landscape, gathering insights from key figures and attempting to predict what lies ahead.”
She points to recent research that has revealed that more than one in five residents in Malta are of foreign origin.
“Delving into the island’s thriving expat scene in our Cover Story, we meet five expat business leaders who have chosen to invest in the island, and find out what it is about Malta that continues to attract them and their business. Meanwhile, the growing number of foreign workers on the island is also due to an influx of third-country nationals in recent years, a topic also under the spotlight in this edition,” Ms Muscat Azzopardi adds.
The Business Now media brand, which includes the Business Now portal and the magazine, is owned by Content House Group – one of Malta’s leading and largest media players.
In our exclusive interview, Central Bank Governor Professor Edward Scicluna discusses the performance of Malta’s economy, inflation and rising interest rates.
Elsewhere, the captivating story of Farsons’ remarkable evolution to household name status is discovered, six of the island’s leading chef patrons share their insights on the fine-dining scene in Malta, while the fascinating design journey behind a recently opened restaurant in Gozo is traced.
Finally, Business Now magazine showcases the work of another foreign national who has chosen to make Malta home – award-winning wildlife photographer with an enduring fascination with nature’s glory, Johan Siggesson.
