The second in a series of five debates being hosted locally by The Malta Chamber in the run up to the MEP elections this June, Friday’s session presents the perfect opportunity to grill European Parliament candidates on the issue of EU Enlargement and HR issues.
The debates form part of the ‘E.YOU: Connecting you with Europe’ series, designed to engage citizens while offering a platform for lively debates and insightful discussions, aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of key European issues.

EU Enlargement:
Friday’s debate delves into the crucial topic of enlargement, exploring the complexities and implications of expanding the European Union. MEPs will engage in dialogue, examining the potential benefits, challenges, and considerations associated with the enlargement process.
Panel will consist of:
Stefano Mallia – President, ESC Employer’s Group, Norma Camilleri – PN MEP Candidates, Terrence Portelli – Imperium Europe MEP Candidate and Thomas Bajada – PL MEP Candidate.
Human Resources and Employment:
The second debate will address pressing issues related to workforce development, labour markets, and employment policies within the EU. MEPs will exchange perspectives on strategies to enhance job creation, promote skills development, and ensure fair and inclusive labour practices across Europe.
Panel will consist of:
