On Monday (today), Air Malta, informed its customers that it has officially cancelled all bookings for flights on Air Malta for travel on or after 31st of March 2024.
Air Malta will cease operations on 30th of March 2024, but will continue to operate all planned flights up until its final day. Its replacement will start operating from the next day.
Malta’s national airline stated that it has refunded all direct customers the full costs, including taxes, of any tickets already issued with travel dates on the day of or after 31st March 2024.
Air Malta notified that customers who had booked through travel agents that it will refund the full cost, also including taxes.
Customers can still book and purchase tickets as normal and Air Malta will honour all tickets for flights up to 30th March 2024.
Last Friday, KM Malta, the new carrier to replace Air Malta, announced its summer 2024 schedule of the new airline. In addition, according to plan explained by Minister Clyde Caruana, the airline launched its recruitment program.
