The first case of the UK-variant of COVID-19 has been registered in Malta.
The strain is known for being even more contagious than the regular variant and has caused much of the UK into a new lockdown.
In a tweet, Health Minister Chris Fearne said that the cases are isolated and their contacts have been quarantined.
He urged the public to stay vigilant, responsible, and safe.
