The Central Business District Foundation (CBDF) has issued an open appeal to landowners and operators within the District to collaborate on a series of green interventions aimed at enhancing the area’s overall appeal.
In a newsletter circulated on Monday (yesterday), the CBDF invited stakeholders to join forces in embellishing their places of work, stressing that such improvements would benefit not only property owners, but also employees, suppliers, customers, and the wider community.
“The Foundation is continuously exploring innovative methods to upgrade the District to enhance the overall experience for all stakeholders,” it said, noting that the Board of Administrators has been actively reviewing strategies to improve the urban environment.
Among the proposals put forward is a call for private landowners to work with the CBDF to explore green initiatives tailored to their specific properties. These could include green boundary walls, corridors of soil and shrubs, or other landscaping upgrades that contribute to a more pleasant and sustainable environment.
“The CBDF will be happy to discuss with your good selves how to best cooperate together to ensure that such embellishments can be implemented for the benefit of all,” the Foundation said.
It emphasised that the initiative represents “a unique opportunity” for stakeholders to contribute directly to the improvement of both their individual properties and the wider District, thereby generating mutual benefits across the board.
The CBDF encouraged interested parties to reach out and initiate discussions “without any prejudice” to explore available options.
