Gozo’s fast ferry has been suspended until further notice, due to unfavourable sea conditions, according to a social media notice from Gozo Highspeed.

A recent update said it will resume on Tuesday 4th March when better conditions are expected.

This comes after a technical issue that left passengers stranded at sea when the ferry’s gangway fell into the sea at Mġarr on Sunday, resulting in an indefinite suspensions of the Malta-Gozo service.

The islands have also faced high winds in the last days, registering up to 30km an hour.
