HSBC Bank Malta has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Maltese businesses’ expansion into international markets through a new three-year agreement with TradeMalta.
The first agreement signed between HSBC Malta and TradeMalta was back in 2016.
TradeMalta was established in 2015 as public-private partnership between the Government of Malta, currently under the remit of the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade, and the Malta Chamber, Enterprise and Industry. It offers a wide range of services to support local businesses in their journey to reach international markets.
Services include training programmes in business development & marketing, and it also provides incentive schemes to accelerate internationalisation efforts. Thus far TradeMalta has supported over a dozen local businesses expand their operations, including Farsons, RS2 and Anchovy among others.
As one of the world’s largest financial institutions, HSBC is well-established in key geographies and operates across a large number of the world’s most important trade corridors.
