Luqa’s post office reopened today (Wednesday) following disruptions caused by a fire on Tuesday.
On Tuesday 29th October, a fire broke out in the early in the morning, damaging three vehicles and the façade of Luqa’s post office.
Located at 11, Trejqet Dun Ġulju Muscat, near the the village’s core, residents spotted black smoke at around 1:15am.
Now MaltaPost informed the public that the post office is resuming normal opening hours from 7:30am till 1pm from Monday to Saturday.
“MaltaPost regrets any inconvenience the post office closure could have caused to customers and thanks the staff of the Civil Protection Department and the Malta Police for their support and assistance,” the mailing company wrote.
