A luxury superyacht linked to Egyptian billionaire and Aston Villa FC owner Naguib Sawiris has been spotted off the coast of St Julian’s, drawing attention as it sailed through Maltese waters.

The yacht, named Yalla, is reportedly valued at $73 million and boasts an opulent design befitting its high-profile owner.

Mr Sawiris, a leading figure in Egypt’s business landscape, has built a vast empire across telecommunications, media, and tourism, amassing an estimated net worth exceeding $3 billion.

While there has been no confirmation as to whether Mr Sawiris himself is on board, the yacht’s presence has certainly piqued the interest of both locals and yacht enthusiasts.

Beyond his extensive business ventures, Mr Sawiris is also a prominent figure in the world of sports, serving as the owner of English football club Aston Villa.
