Melita has upgraded its Stellar WiFi service with the introduction of WiFi 7 mesh pods, aiming to improve whole-home coverage and network performance for residential customers.

The new pods are designed to reduce interference, eliminate dead zones and distribute bandwidth more efficiently across multiple devices, including streaming services, gaming systems and smart-home equipment. The system supports up to 120 connected devices and can be managed through the Stellar WiFi mobile app.

James Spina, Chief Technology Officer at Melita Limited, said, “Our mission at Melita is to make connectivity seamless, smart, and strong in every home. The integration of WiFi 7 into our Stellar WiFi service brings a level of quality, reliability and speed that matches the demands of today’s connected homes.”

He continued: “This upgrade puts our customers in full control of their network and eliminates the frustrations of slow-loading content or WiFi dead zones.”

Customers subscribed to Melita’s 2.5Gbps internet package will receive two WiFi 7 pods as part of their plan. Additional pods, as well as pods for lower-tier plans, are available for €1.99 per month.
