Last year’s third quarter saw an increase in Malta’s property prices, according to fresh data released by the National Statistics Office (NSO) showing that its Residential Property Price Index RPPI rose by 6.9 per cent.

The findings refer to data collected in the third quarter of 2024, with the increase reflecting the year-on-year increase over the corresponding period of 2023.

Over that period, apartment prices increased by 6.9 per cent while the asking price for maisonettes increased by a slightly more moderate 5.8 per cent.
When compared to the second quarter of 2024, the RPPI registered a quarterly increase of 1.5 per cent.
