Ryanair, Europe’s leading low-cost airline by passenger numbers, kicked off 2025 with growth, reporting a 14 per cent increase in passenger traffic for February compared to the same month last year. The airline welcomed 12.6 million guests in February 2025, up from 11.1 million in February 2024.

This growth comes as Ryanair operated over 71,360 flights during the month, maintaining a load factor of 92 per cent.

The airline’s strong performance is further reflected in its rolling 12-month traffic, which saw passenger numbers climb nine per cent to 198.8 million guests. Over the same period, Ryanair’s load factor remained steady at 94 per cent.

Looking ahead, Ryanair is set to build on this momentum, with plans to expand its fleet, increase flight frequencies, and open new routes across key markets.
