Bank of Valletta has confirmed that the availability of services impacted by a technical fault which occurred earlier on Tuesday have now been restored.

The bank confirmed that "all systems have been restored". It is understood that the main disruption related to the processing of payments and deposits made through its ATMs.

Bank of Valletta on Tuesday (today) informed customers that it is currently experiencing technical issues that have impacted the Bank’s digital banking platforms, certain over-the-counter services in the retail network, deposit services through ATMs, card balances as well as payment processing.

BOV’s technical teams are undertaking the necessary requirements to reinstate its services.

Further updates will be communicated through the Bank’s website and official social media channels. The bank apologised for any inconvenience caused.
