StudiesIn.com is on a mission to bring transparency and accessibility to international education, empowering students to achieve their academic dreams without bias or barriers.
With a focus on European education, StudiesIn’s approach has already made a significant impact. By providing access to public universities in Spain, the platform enables students to study abroad at a fraction of traditional costs – often for less than a thousand euros per year. Now the team is ready to open its second office in Malta, after completing the renowned SuperCharger Accelerator in 2024, which supports high-growth EdTech startups, advancing its mission to transform international education.
“Our vision has always been to eliminate bias in the education consultancy industry,” said Tom Miessen, CEO & Co-founder of StudiesIn. “Too often, students are steered toward programs that prioritise profits over their personal goals. At StudiesIn, we aim to make higher education accessible for everyone, offering both private and public education options that cater to students from all income levels.”
Choosing where to study abroad is one of the most critical decisions a young student will make, with long-term implications for their career, residency, and life opportunities. However, navigating this process is complex. From selecting the right institution and program to managing visa applications and relocation, students often face overwhelming challenges.
Having already helped over 14,000 students from more than 110 nationalities overcome bureaucratic hurdles, StudiesIn is set to transform how international education is accessed. The company’s expansion to Malta underscores its commitment to supporting students worldwide and strengthening its presence in Europe.
“Our decision to open an office in Malta is part of our broader goal to expand our impact across Europe,” said Gent Ukehajdaraj, who recently joined StudiesIn as the new CMO and co-founder. “This strategic move will allow us to better support students while contributing to the local economy with job creation and innovation.”
The Malta office will play a pivotal role in advancing StudiesIn’s mission to make the study abroad process smoother, simpler, and more inclusive. By leveraging technology and a student-first approach, the platform is redefining the future of international education.
StudiesIn is currently in its second fundraising round, having already secured 50% of the targeted investment of €500k and is seeking new partners to help achieve its mission of becoming Europe’s #1 study abroad platform.
