Passengers arriving at Malta International Airport (MIA) from Schengen countries will now benefit from an improved experience, as the airport has introduced a brand-new Schengen Arrivals Corridor.

The new section of the terminal building offers passengers arriving from Schengen destinations a direct pathway to the baggage reclaim area, streamlining the arrivals process and enhancing passenger flow.

This latest upgrade forms part of Malta International Airport’s ongoing terminal expansion project, aimed at improving the airport’s facilities and enhancing passenger comfort. The first phase of this multi-stage expansion plan is now nearing completion, with the airport gearing up to transition into further projects.
