The Remarkable Collective (TRC), Malta’s holistic professional services collective, announced that Alan Caruana has joined its Strategy Partners collective.

Mr Caruana brings decades of experience in business support, corporate governance and European Union funding advisory, an expertise that will significantly enhance TRC’s consultancy capabilities and benefit clients across the Maltese business community.

He is a business support consultant, company director, and EU funding specialist with decades of leadership experience across private and public sectors. He specialises in helping organisations secure EU investment and optimise their governance and funding readiness.

He will work alongside TRC’s multidisciplinary partners to deliver practical, results-driven advice on securing EU investment, optimising funding-readiness, and aligning strategic growth plans with available European funding streams. His pragmatic approach, informed by a long career spanning public and private sectors, will strengthen The Remarkable Collective’s offer to SMEs, startups, and larger organisations seeking to scale and access grant funding.

“We’re delighted to welcome [Mr Caruana] to the Strategy Partners collective. His EU funding expertise and pragmatic advisory approach will materially boost the outcomes we deliver for clients and help position Maltese businesses to unlock new sources of growth,” said Mike Roberts, Group CEO.

Mr Caruana commented “What excites me about joining The Remarkable Collective is the ability to combine strategic thinking with practical outcomes. By integrating funding, advisory, and business development, we can deliver measurable impact for Maltese enterprises.”

Key benefits of the partnership:

• Faster access to EU funding opportunities for TRC clients through improved eligibility assessments and application readiness.

• Hands-on advisory to translate funding into commercial projects, premises investment, and content/marketing initiatives.

• Cross-partner collaboration: Mr Caruana’s advisory will amplify value across TRC’s partner network; from recruitment and skills development to strategic transformation.
