HSBC Malta Rabat branch will reopen to customers on Monday 25th January 2021, following a temporary closure caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The branch in Rabat will now operate on a tellerless basis, whilst at the same time, bank advisors remain available to assist HSBC Malta customers with the bank’s full range of products and services. 

It will operate with the following opening hours:

Crawford Prentice, Head of Wealth & Personal Banking at HSBC Malta, said “Although recent months have highlighted the convenience and reliability of digital banking platforms, the ability for customers to discuss their financial needs in person is, and will remain, a crucial part of HSBC’s service. Therefore, while we continue to encourage customers to use digital platforms as much as possible, we are also moving forward with the reopening, in a safe manner, of our branch in Rabat on Monday 25 January.

Mr Prentice also said that HSBC Malta plans to reopen the Bank’s Gzira branch, “in due course.”
