The Malta Development Association (MDA) has expressed its profound sadness at the passing of Jonathan Cardona, whose death has come as a shock to many across Malta’s public, business and professional communities.
The association says that throughout his career in public service, Jonathan Cardona occupied a number of senior leadership positions and worked closely with stakeholders from various sectors, including the property and development industry.
“His commitment to dialogue, his accessibility, and his willingness to engage constructively on matters of national importance earned him the respect of many who had the opportunity to work with him,” they added/
On behalf of the Association, the MDA extended its sincere condolences to Mr Cardona’s family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time. They also conveyed their sympathies to his colleagues, both past and present, who “shared in his professional journey and benefited from his leadership and dedication.”
“At moments such as these, differences in opinion and perspective are set aside as we reflect on the human qualities that define a person’s legacy,” they added.
Mr Cardona will be remembered by many for his contribution to public administration and for the relationships he built across Malta’s institutional and business communities.
