Another fintech player has chosen Malta as its base, with payment technology company Paytently opening its headquarters in Sliema.

The company, located at Adelaide Building, 231 Tower Road, currently employs over 35 people, many of whom are Maltese.

Founded in 2023, Paytently launched its proprietary payment orchestration platform to clients last year. Since then, the company has experienced rapid expansion, integrating more than 80 clients and establishing a network that includes over 60 acquiring partners.

In addition to its Malta headquarters, Paytently also operates in Belgium, London, and Portugal, supporting a diverse client base across multiple jurisdictions.
