TradeMalta

TradeMalta, the national trade promotion organisation, proudly represented Malta’s thriving food and beverage industry at Gulfood 2025, held in Dubai from 17th to 21st February. The Malta Pavilion provided an exceptional platform for 11 leading Maltese companies to showcase their diverse and high-quality products, reinforcing Malta’s position in the global food and beverage market.

Visitors to the Malta Pavilion were treated to a variety of products, including beer, soft drinks, energy drinks, snacks, biscuits, ready-made dishes, sauces, dips, confectionery, and powder mixes for cakes and custard. The pavilion’s newly designed space highlighted Malta’s commitment to quality, creativity, and international market expansion.

Carmen Walls, Senior Manager at TradeMalta, expressed her enthusiasm about the event: “Participating in Gulfood 2025 has been an incredible experience for Maltese exhibitors. We’re proud to showcase Malta’s rich culinary heritage and the exceptional quality and innovation of our local producers. This exposure not only strengthens Malta’s international presence but also opens new opportunities for collaboration and growth in global markets.”

Gulfood 2025, marking its 30th edition, remains the world’s largest annual food and beverage trade exhibition. Under the theme “The Next Frontier in Food,” this year’s event focused on shaping global food trends and leading discussions on sustainability and food security.

With over 5,500 exhibitors from more than 129 countries, Gulfood continues to drive international food trade and foster global partnerships.

The Malta Pavilion, located at the Trade Centre Arena, attracted significant attention, giving international visitors a taste of Malta’s exceptional food and beverage offerings. Through this participation, Malta solidified its role as a key player in the global culinary industry.

TradeMalta is a public-private partnership between the Government of Malta and the Malta Chamber. The organisation was set up to offer support to Malta-based companies to reach international markets.
