Chris Fearne

Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Chris Fearne, together with Arts Minister Jose Herrera and Superintendent of Public Health Charmaine Galea will be addressing the nation on Friday afternoon (today) at 12.30pm.

They will be sharing details on the protocols which will cover the restart of Malta’s social and cultural events from July onwards. Authorities have repeatedly stressed that such events will restart in a “limited and controlled” manner, for those with a vaccine certificate only.

A broad campaign by the club and entertainment sector, Restart, together with the Malta Entertainment Industry and Arts Association (MEIA), have issued strong criticism and decried being the only sector left out of Malta’s reopening plan.
